Thanks for the ancient Christmas Album reminder. I do not recall “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” that you refer to here. I did have an album with the same title that featured The Peppermint Kandy Kids. I figured the album for a knock-off of the Chipmunks Christmas. But, therein lies a mystery…
Upon searching for the album online just now, I found the cover, but the songs sampled within ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. These are not the Peppermint Kandy Kids I remember. Everything I once held as truth is a lie. A damned knock-off lie.
Either I am mixing up my holiday album memories, or something is rotten in the state of Peter Pan records.
